The collection is inspired by traditional elements of men’s tailoring and shirting. While observing British tailors in Saville Row, I was fascinated by the multitude of components that are worked separately and combined to create the simplest of looks, a suit.
The idea is to celebrate, repeat, enlarge, mis-place
all these ‘invisible parts’ that the tailors treat with so much love. From
interfacing collars and cuffs, to hand finishing button holes or creating the
perfect pleated bib, elements of workmanship are still recognizable but
re-combined in a humorous way.
