Born in San Diego and raised in Rome, Alithia Spuri-Zampetti moved to London to study fashion. While attending Central Saint Martin's College of Art and Design, she gained work experience in the Ateliers of Hussein Chalayan, Bruno Pieters, and the design studios of Viktor & Rolf and Louis Vuitton.
After graduation, Alithia worked in Italy for Valentino and Bottega Veneta, and later moved to Paris to join Lanvin where she worked for 6 years alongside Alber Elbaz, becoming Studio Director. In 2015, Alithia was chosen to revive the French heritage house Paule Ka, becoming Creative Director.
Later, she started working independently teaching Fashion Design at Parson and Creative Pattern Cutting at the MA of L'Ecole de la Chambre Synicale de La Couture Parisienne.
At the moment, she consults as Associate Head of Design at Alexander McQueen.
